While going through the old Enjins, I came across a thread of the Host's about media that makes you feel SWL-inspired, or media you feel kind of fits the theme. I thought it would be fun to start a list of some of those, that people could add to whenever they feel up to it!
Supernatural - Obviously, a big one on my list is the show Supernatural, which has all the fun, dark elements and some of the lore of our beloved game/IP, mixed with silly banter that could absolutely take place in a RP scene.
Criminal Minds - This one always works for me, since one of my characters was a forensics agent, this show is a big one. It's not just the procedural stuff, but the interaction of the team's various members. It always reminds me of my own time in The Host and in T.H.E.M., as well as some of the investigative stuff I did on another toon back in Knightsbridge Consulting.
The Cabin in the Woods - I feel like this one is obvious, but if you haven't seen it, there's a lot more to it than just all the monsters/baddies. This could absolutely be The Illuminati running some experiment like this...
Grimm - Probably another obvious choice, but it always gave me Secret World feels back when I watched it.
Bright - I personally have not seen this, but every trailer or clip I saw gave me those same vibes!
Ghosted - I freaking loved this show. It's clever, and a perfect supernatural buddy cop show. I wish this got renewed!!!
Truth Seekers - Another show that deserves more. So much silliness, but so much fun SWL-type stuff in it.
Crazyhead - Who doesn't love demon hunter shows?
Candyman - I linked the new one, but obviously the old one works, too. Perfect one-off or plot piece.

Odd Thomas - In a California desert town, a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.
John Dies At The End - Very much what the average bee could be dealing with.
Mushishi (animated) - Man with natural affinity for supernatural microbiology travels feudal Japan, helps common folk with supernatural issues.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (animated) - Youths make questionable Faustian contracts to wage a secret war against hidden horrors that feed on the death and despair of humans, gradually discover exactly what those contracts cost them.
Night Watch - A fantasy-thriller set in present-day Moscow where the respective forces that control daytime and nighttime do battle.
