Both tumblr accounts are deleted by now but it is just too good to have it vanish. So I repost it to preserve it. This is not my work.

Day One - Basics

We’re going to start off easy by getting some of your character’s basic information out of the way. What’s their full name? Do they have any nicknames or secret identities? What’s their alias/codename? What faction did they choose? How old are they? When’s their birthday? Describe their past life? Add any information that you think is relevant and isn’t covered in the other posts. Also feel free to add photos where necessary.

Day Two - Appearance

Write a detailed description of your character/characters’ appearance. There’s a lot of stuff that you can’t really do in the game! How tall is your character? Do they have any interesting markings or tattoos? What’s their favorite outfit, or do they prefer to just chill in their faction uniform all day?

Day Three - Personality

Your character never really gets to talk much, so let’s hear about their personality a bit, yeah? Are they severely introverted? Brash? Stubborn? Are they comfortable completely forsaking pants and running around New York, or are they a stuttering, nail-biting mess?

Day Four - Getting the Bee

When did your character get their bee? What happened? Did they destroy their apartment? Did they go on the run before being recruited by their faction? Were they already in their faction? Did they start having crazy dreams, or was their reaction just a simple midnight raiding of the fridge?

Day Four - Factions

What does your character think of all the Factions of The Secret World? How do they feel about their own faction? Are they a Templar who really doesn’t mind the Illuminati? What about those Phoenicians? How does your character feel about the Council of Venice mediating things? What’s up with those Morninglight hippies anyway?

Day Five - Leader for a Day

Describe what your character’s reaction to being told they were in charge of the entirety of their faction for a single day. What would they do? Would the power go to their head, or would the end of the day be a complete relief?

Day Six - Relationships

What are some of the most important relationships in your character’s life? Do they have a significant other? Are their parents super important to them? How do they feel about their handler and Faction Contacts? Who is their favorite NPC? Do they have enough friends, or are they a total workaholic? If your character had to have an NPC as a roommate, who would they pick?

Day Seven - Weapons & Abilities

There’s a vast amount of combinations of weapons and abilities in the game. What does your character prefer? Do they use a deck? Why did they choose their preferred weapons? Have they used anything else?

Day Eight - Inventory and Special Items

What sort of items does your character always have in their inventory? Do they hoard ambrosia? If we picked your character up by their heels and shook them, would tacos be the only thing to fall out of their pockets? Furthermore, does your character carry around any special items that don’t qualify as “inventory”? Are these items sentimental, or did your character just randomly have them?

Day Nine - Quests and Monsters

What (thus far) has been your character’s favorite quest? What was their least favorite? What was the scariest quest? Do they have a favorite monster they like to fight? What monster do they DETEST fighting, and why?

Day Ten - The Tokyo Incident & Motivation

Was your character in their Faction during The Tokyo Incident? If so, how did they react? If they weren’t, what was their reaction anyway? Furthermore, what motivates your character? Do they want to save the world as much as is humanly possible, or do they simply roll out of bed in the morning and consider their work done?

Day Eleven - Free Day

This is a free day in which you, the meme participant, get to decide what you want to write or include. This could be anything from your character’s favorite youtube video, to a piece of art, or a short story. Has your character ever been to Disney World? Were they permanently scarred by the Rollercoaster at the Savage Coast? Is your character political? How many languages do they speak? The sky’s the limit!

Day Twelve - The Secret World

How does your character feel about The Secret World in general? Are they disturbed that they were kept in the dark? Do they have issues talking to family members about it? Do they drink pints with fairies, banshees, and demons, or do they detest anything that isn’t even vaguely human?

Day Thirteen - It’s A Strange, Strange World We Live In

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to your character? Did a whole team of Draug go traipsing past them in the forest? Were they witness to a collection of familiars participating in a flash mob at Innsmouth Academy? Maybe there was an incident with some mushrooms in Transylvania? Or did they simply strive to sleep on every abandoned bed in Kingsmouth?

Day Fourteen - Agartha and Transportation

How does your character feel about using Agartha? Do the custodians make them nervous? Do they prefer to use conventional means of transportation, or is the convenience of crossing the world in a brisk walk too much for them to pass up?

Day Fifteen - Anima Form

What was your character’s first reaction to “dying” and discovering their anima form? Does your character prefer to respawn at anima wells or to move back to their body and resurrect where they died? What are some of the more notable ways that your character has entered anima form?

Day Sixteen - Free Day

Day Seventeen - Beliefs

Is your character faithful or otherwise religious? Have their beliefs been shaken since they entered The Secret World? Does your character try to go to church or have a moment of prayer or meditation during their assignments? If your character is an atheist or solely believes in science, do they struggle to explain the presence of Immortals or the hellish events of the Overlook Motel?

Day Eighteen - Fears and Regrets

What are your character’s biggest fears? Are they nonplussed by all the monsters trying to kill them, or are they constantly jumping at each and every shadow? Do they have certain phobias, or is their sole nightmare a recurring dream of Zurn dressed up like Miley Cyrus and trying to twerk?

Does your character have any major regrets? Did they make the wrong choice of faction? Did they ever wish they could join the circus? If they had the chance to go back in time, would they make any choices to alleviate said regrets?

Day Nineteen - Strengths and Weaknesses

What sort of unusual skills does your character bring to the table, apart from their ability to manifest anima? Were they trained as an ice skater? Are they exceptionally good at cooking? Can they lift an exceptional amount of weight? Were they a classically-trained pianist? Conversely, what are your character’s weaknesses? Do they have excessive allergies? Do they have trouble focusing? Maybe they can’t retain their sense of balance to save their life?

Day Twenty - Heroism

What is the most heroic thing your character has ever done? This can be a headcanon or something explicitly in the game itself. Does your character strive to be heroic, or does the occasional bout of heroism just happen?

Day Twenty-One - Villainy

What is the most villainous thing your character has ever done? This can be a headcanon or something explicitly in the game itself. Does your character go out of their way to commit actions that are less than moral? If they had the chance and the ability, would they just leave the world to burn, or is the extent of their evil a case of accidental littering?

Day Twenty-Two - Free Day

Day Twenty-Three - Living Quarters

Where does your character live when they’re not out on an assignment? Do they stay in the same city as their faction headquarters? Did they just keep their old apartment, or have they managed to upgrade or downgrade since then?

Day Twenty-Four - Locations

What was your character’s favorite assignment? Did they enjoy killing zombies and draug in Kingsmouth a little too much? Do they party in Agartha and try to miff the Stationmaster? Maybe they enjoy The Labyrinth? Or do they just really, really, really like Egypt? Furthermore, does your character have a favorite restaurant or shop in the world? Do they prefer to spend their downtime drinking and smoking at The Horned God, or do they prefer trying on ALL the clothes at Pangaea?

Day Twenty-Five - On a Day Off

What does your character do on a normal day without any assignments to do and monsters to slay? Do they use Agartha to take vacations throughout the world? If so, where? Do they stay home and cuddle up with a significant other to watch a movie? Or do they simply sit in front of the computer, playing MMORPGs while languishing to put another greasy potato chip in their slackjawed mouth?

Day Twenty-Six - Soundtrack

You knew this was probably coming. What sort of music does your character listen to? Do you have a specific set of songs that remind you of your character? Did you actually make a soundtrack or a playlist for your character? Provide us with some links so we can all have a listen!

Day Twenty-Seven - Favorites

Also a given. Tell us some of your character’s favorite things! Favorite food, favorite color, favorite alcoholic beverage, favorite article of clothing, favorite feature in the preferable sex — really, you could go on and on. Day Twenty-Eight - Free Day

Day Twenty-Nine - The Past

Write about one event in your character’s past that has profoundly influenced their current path and shaped them. The incident with the bees is off the table since we’ve already discussed it in Day Four. Was it something in their very recent past, such as meeting The Child? Or perhaps it was something that happened in their childhood?

Day Thirty - The Future

What are your character’s plans for the future? Are they just taking it one day at a time, or do they have the rest of their life entirely planned out down to the church wedding, 2.5 kids and a gas-guzzling SUV? Does your character look forward to what’s going to happen to them, or do they face their future with cynicism?
